DE698 Introduction to Pottery

     

An Elective Course for Dual Degree BDes / M.Des Students
This elective has been introduced as M.Des students from different disciplnes expressed an interest
in working with clay and learning the basics of pottery. The course
- begins with handshaping
- introduces the basics of wheel thrown pottery
- engages with the aesthetics of form and socio-cultural underpinnings
