A Study of Kumbhars in Maharashtra
Materials such as plastic and steel have made durable alternatives to terracotta pots
possible and had an enormous impact on the livelihoods of kumbhars (traditional potters).
The project seeks to understand how kumbhars in Maharashtra
have sought to adapt to these changed circumstances.
